A Few More Bruises:

- Jess calls Jimmy and asks to meet him to talk. He thanks him for leaving, because even though it 
made life harder, it led him to something better.
- Rory and Jess talk about the previous night, and Jess apologizes for stopping things. He says he 
had too much on his mind and, when they do sleep together he doesn't want to be thinking about 
anything else.
- Lorelai finds an unused condom in Rory's room and confronts her about what's going on with Jess. 
Rory admits that she and Jess almost slept together and assures Lorelai that she's ready for whatever 
happens.

The Perfect Sky Is Torn:

- Jess and Jimmy talk about Jimmy's life in Venice Beach, and Jimmy asks Jess to move out to 
California with him.
- Emily invites Lorelai, Rory, Luke and Jess to a dinner party.
- Rory asks Jess to go to her grandparents party and he agrees because he feels guilty about not 
telling her about Jimmy's offer.
- Jess tells Rory about the offer, but doesn't make it clear that it's not just a vacation. Rory 
tells him he should go.

Give Me a Reason:

- At Emily and Richards Party, Jess and Rory fight about his attitude and he admits that Jimmy's 
offer was for him to move permanently. Rory doesn't want him to go but refuses to ask him to stay.
- Jess leaves, mad that Rory won't give him a reason to stay in Stars Hollow.
- Lorelai tells Rory that if she wants Jess to stay she should say something. Rory says she can't be 
his only reason to stay.

Bleeding is Believing:

- Luke and Jimmy convince Jess to talk to Rory.
- Rory and Jess meet at the bridge and he explains to her why he reacted to badly when she wouldn't 
give him a reason to stay.
- Rory presents him with a 'contract', it leaves her blameless for anything that happens between them 
if he stays in Stars Hollow for her. He agrees to sign it, and she asks him to stay.

Gold Stars Plastered All Over My Forehead:

- Jimmy leaves town.
- Rory and Luke find out that Jess is doing badly at school and Rory decides to do something about 
it.
- Jess comes over to see Rory and she forces him to study for a test he has at school later that 
week.

I Did It All For The Nookie:

- Jess gets a good grade on his test.
- Liz shows up in town for Thanksgiving. She brings one of Jess's old friends, Starshun.
- Liz, Luke, Lorelai and Starshun walk in on Rory and Jess making out pretty heavily.
- Lorelai invites Luke to stay with her since Liz and Starshun are taking up all the sleeping space 
in the apartment.

Monogamy is Too Cruel a Rule:

- Starshun tells Rory about Jess's past in New York. He explains that Jess doesn't believe in 
monogamy. Starsh asks Rory if she ever cheated on Jess or any of her boyfriends. He lables her a 
cheater.
- Starsh kisses Rory and tells her not to tell Jess because he won't believe her.
- Rory tells Lorelai what Starsh told her about Jess's views on relationship and Lorelai tells her 
that as long as she's secure about her relationship with Jess, she should just let it be.
- Lorelai asks Luke to move in with her, at least 'part-time'.

Sabotage!:

- Luke, Lorelai, Rory, Jess, Liz and Starsh go to Thanksgiving dinner at Emily and Richards.
- Starsh embarrasses Jess by telling Emily and Richard things about his past.
- Jess and Starsh argue and Starsh tries to convince Jess that he should come back to New York 
because he's not happy in Stars Hollow. Starsh tells Jess that he kissed Rory and isn't totally sure 
she didn't kiss him back.

There's No Simple Explanation:

- Emily and Lorelai fight about Rory and Jess and Lorelai refuses to do anything to stop Rory seeing 
him. She tells Emily that Jess is part of their family because he's Luke's nephew and Rory loves him.
- Jess confronts Rory about the kiss and asks her why she lied. She tries to explain, but he is too 
confused to know who to believe and she tells him to believe what he wants and leaves.
- Liz yells at Starsh for causing so much trouble and tells him to get ready to leave. He tries one 
more time to get Jess to come back to New York with them.

The Mole:

- Lorelai finds Rory at home in tears over her fight with Jess.
- Liz and Starsh leave town.
- Lorelai yells at Jess for hurting Rory. She tells him to either learn to accept the good things in 
his life or let Rory go so she can be happy.
- Luke and Jess talk about what Starsh said. Luke tells Jess that Starsh is an idiot, and that Jess 
is a lot happier then he was when he first came to town.
- Jess sends a note to Rory in an attempt to see if she wants to talk to him.
