In Sickness and In Health:

- Rory and Lane are baffled by Mama Kim's calm attitude about Dave.
- Lorelai worries that she and Rory are drifting apart.
- Sookie gets the flu and Lorelai forces her to go home and rest.
- Lorelai is disappointed when she comes home for a movie night and finds that Rory is already 
spending time with Jess instead of her.

Flu, Fights and Fires:

- Lorelai and Rory end up in a fight over Rory spending time with Jess when she was supposed to be 
having a movie night with Lorelai.
- Shane gets the flu.
- Rory and Lorelai eventually make up and arrange another movie night.
- Lane confronts Mama Kim about Dave and Mama Kim agrees to let them see each other.
- Sookie finds out that she wasn't really sick, she was pregnant.
- Lorelai gets the flu.

Lines are Being Crossed:

- Rory and Jess have trouble finding a private moment that isn't interrupted.
- Shane comes to the diner to see Jess and breaks down.

Secrets and Lies:

- Shane tells Jess that she's pregnant by a guy she slept with at a New Years Eve Party, and asks for 
his help.
- Dean asks Rory if she has seen Shane because he thinks she's been avoiding him. Rory tells him 
Shane was at the diner with Jess.
- Dean goes to the diner and tries to get Jess to tell him what's going on, but Jess refuses. Dean 
again tells Jess to stay away from Shane.
- Rory tries to get Jess to tell her what's wrong with Shane but he won't and she leaves the diner 
mad at him.

The Blame Game:

- Rory tells Lorelai that she's concerned about what Jess won't tell her.
- Shane asks Jess if she can stay with him over night because her mom found out she's pregnant and 
started yelling.
- Rory comes to see Jess and finds Shane in his bed. He manages to calm Rory down enough to explain 
that he slept on the couch.
- Shane confesses to Rory that she's pregnant and Rory tries to talk her out of getting an abortion, 
but Jess explains that there's not other real option.

The Meaning of Mercy:

- Rory struggles with not being able to tell Lorelai about Shane. She tries to talk Jess out of 
taking Shane to get an abortion but he refuses and promises her it'll be ok.
- Sookie and Jackson argue about what she is and isn't capable of doing now she's pregnant, putting 
Lorelai in the middle as mediator.
- Lorelai realizes her period is late and she could be pregnant.

Color Me Confused:

- Lorelai tells Sookie that she might be pregnant and Sookie tells her to take a test and talk to 
Luke.
- Shane struggles to talk to Dean about everything that's been going on.
- Lorelai tells Rory and Luke that she might be pregnant and they try to be supportive.
- Jess avoids kissing Rory when they're alone.
- Lorelai takes the pregnancy test and it's negative.
- Miss Patty overhears Jess and Shane talking about the fact that Shane didn't get the abortion and 
needs to tell people or get rid of it. 
- Patty starts telling everyone that Jess got Shane pregnant and is forcing her to get an abortion.

The Accused:

- People start coming to the diner to gossip about Jess and Shane.
- Lorelai hears the gossip and tells Luke to send Rory straight home when she comes to the diner 
after school, to try and protect her from the rumors.
- Before Luke can get Rory out of the Diner, Taylor comes in and starts ranting at Luke for letting 
Jess get Shane pregnant.
- Shane and Jess try and ignore the gossips and pretend everything is normal. But Dean confronts them 
at school and he and Jess end up in a fist fight.

Picking Up The Pieces:

- The Principal gives Dean detention and suspends Jess.
- Shane gets fired from her job and is told that when she starts showing she'll have to drop out of 
school.
- Jess continues to avoid any kind of intimate contact with Rory.
- Shane tells Jess she's moving to Boston to live with her grandmother (who she hates) because she 
has no other friends or family who can give her a place to live and she can't stay with her mother.

Hell, I Still Love You, New York:

- Emily starts acting strangely and Lorelai can't figure out why.
- Luke panics when he realizes it's his 6 month anniversary with Lorelai and she's all happy about 
it. So he desperately tries to think of something special to do for her.
- Luke arranges dinner for him and Lorelai in New York, followed by a night at a hotel. Lorelai is 
excited but then panics and pages Rory when she can't think of what to wear.
- Rory and Lane help Lorelai get ready.
