Don't Just Walk Away:

- Rory invites Jess over for the evening.
- During dinner, Lorelai asks Luke if he's going to propose and they both admit they aren't ready for 
that and are happy with how things have been going.
- Rory confronts Jess when he refuses to kiss her, and he breaks down, admitting that he's scared 
he'll get her pregnant and she'll end up like Shane, and he won't allow himself to do that to her.
- Rory and Jess realize that their relationship is pretty much over and he leaves, despite her 
protests. He later returns and holds Rory while she cries herself to sleep.

Do You Realize That Happiness Makes You Cry?

- Jess and Rory try and figure out what to do about their relationship.
- Lorelai tries to comfort Rory and Luke questions Jess about what's going on.
- Lorelai goes to see Richard and Emily but Richard says Emily is ill in bed and shouldn't have 
visitors. Lorelai doesn't think much of it, but when she's gone Richard goes to tell Emily Lorelai 
stopped by and it's obvious something is very wrong.
- Rory and Jess try and rebuild their relationship.

And The Hits Just Keep On Coming:

- Emily attends a DAR meeting at the Inn and is dismissive of Lorelai's concerns for her health.
- The Chilton School Council starts talking about planning Prom.
- Mia shows up at the Inn and tells Lorelai that she might be selling the Inn.
- Lorelai goes to see Emily and sees a letter about an appointment to have a breast biopsy. She 
realizes Emily may have cancer but Emily sees her with the letter and makes her leave.

Shut Up and Shut Out:

- Rory, Jess, Lane and Dave hang out together.
- Lorelai tells Luke about the letter she saw.
- Emily avoids Lorelai's calls so Lorelai goes to see Richard at his office and forces him to tell 
her what's going on.
- Lorelai tells Sookie about Mia selling the Inn and Sookie panics.
- Luke and Lorelai fight when he tries to convince her to tell Rory about Emily and she refuses.

Deep In Debt:

- Lorelai refuses to talk to Luke after their fight and Luke refuses to let Rory buy coffee for 
Lorelai until Lorelai comes to the diner.
- Sookie worries that if Mia is selling the Inn she won't be able to afford her baby. Lorelai tries 
to calm her down and Sookie begs Lorelai to start an Inn with her.
- Lorelai apologizes to Luke.

Trials and Tribulations:

- Lorelai and Rory try to prepare for when Rory's college acceptance letters arrive by having trial 
runs.
- Mia finds out that Sookie and Lorelai want to buy The Dragonfly but Fran won't sell. So she goes 
to talk to Fran and try and talk her into selling.
- Lorelai shows up at Emily's biopsy appointment and apologizes for reading the letter.

Learning to Let Go:

- Mia leaves.
- Emily's biopsy results show that the lump is benign. Lorelai tells Rory about everything and Rory 
feels bad for not being able to support Lorelai and Emily.
- Lorelai gets a letter saying that Mia is selling the Inn. She and Sookie want to open their own in 
but can't afford it.
- Lorelai has to inform the staff at the Inn that they may lose their jobs soon.

Acceptance:

- Luke tries to give Lorelai the money to start her own Inn but she refuses to take it.
- Fran offers Sookie and Lorelai a chance to buy The Dragonfly. They try to get a loan from the bank, 
but need someone to co-sign.
- Jess gets some college acceptance letters but doesn't open them.
- Rory gets accepted to Harvard, Yale and Princeton.

The Best Laid Plans of Luke and Sookie:

- Luke asks Sookie to let him to co-sign them loan so she and Lorelai can get the Inn.
- Lane invites Rory and Jess to a party someone from Stars Hollow High is having.
- When Lorelai finds out that Luke went behind her back to ask Sookie about the loan she gets mad at 
both of them.
- Paris panics when she doesn't get her acceptance letters at the same time as Rory.
- Jess gets more acceptance letters, but still doesn't open any of them.
- Paris is upset that she's not more excited about getting into Harvard, so Rory invites her to the 
party with Lane, Dave and Jess.

Keg! Paris?:

- Rory runs into Dean at the party and finds out he's dating someone.
- Paris gets drunk to try and distract her from how she feels about Harvard. Jess tells her to stick 
by him so she doesn't get in trouble.
- Emily thanks Lorelai for being there for her, making Lorelai realize she needs to apologize to Luke 
and Sookie.
- When Rory finds out that Paris is drunk and Jess didn't stop her from drinking, she gets mad at 
Jess and they argue.
- Lorelai calls Luke on her way back from Hartford to apologize. She ends up in a car accident after 
a careless driver runs her off the road.
